1905, Bronze, ~2.75 in. diameter (70mm), Pikes Peak obverse, inscription reverse.
39th National Encampment G.A.R., Denver Sept. 1905, In honor of the brave men who victoriously defended the union on land and sea during the Great Rebellion 1861-1865.
Medal issued by Zalmon G. Simmons, builder and first owner of the Manitou & Pikes Peak Railway.  He had this medal made for the 1905 Denver Encampment of the G.A.R. Each attending member also received a trip to the summit on the Cog.

Detroit, Michigan 1951 250th Anniversary Souvenir Medal. Bronze, ~2 7/8 in. diameter.
This medal was struck by the Medallic Art Company.The Sculptor was Rene P. Chambellan.
This medal features Antoine De Lamothe Cadillac Founder of Detroit and shows the explorer and his crew in a canoe landing before scantily clad natives on the front. The back of the medal has Old Fort Ponchartrain 1701 in the foreground and a 1951 city scape of Detroit in the background. It is stamped,  Detroit 250th Birthday Festival 1951 Past-Present-Future .

New York Bicentennial Medal, 1976, probably silvered bronze, 2.5 in. diameter..  Made by Medallic Art Company.  Marked on edge as SAMPLE.  Probably quite limited, as this was probably used to try to promote this medal to the state of New York.

World's Columbian Exposition, large thick, very high relief, White Metal medal, 68mm.  Obverse: Administration Building, Reverse: Chicago Iron Works, Western Office, Helena, Montana.  A neat medal from a highly collected Exposition.  Probably originally copper plated, but white metal now shows dark, some rim dings which are very common on these large medals.

Victor D. Brenner 1902 Prince Henry Medal
1902 Prince Henry of Prussia by Victor D. Brenner Silver, 69.8 mm, 157.2 gm. By Lincoln cent designer Victor D. Brenner. Obverse: bust of Prince Henry left, issued by the American Numismatic and Archeological Society New York, Feb 1902. Reverse: figure of Mercury riding on a cloud, in his right arm fruits and flowers; to the right, the German and American shields. There is a small die break (rim cud) at 6 o'clock on the obverse. Commemorates the royal visit to the United States in 1902 by Prince Henry. Only 300 pieces were struck.  This has to be one of the most outstanding of Brenner's works. Rare and very collectible.  Not often seen for sale.....

1937 Paramount Silver Jubilee for Adolph Zukor, In Recognition of 25 years of Distinguished Service to Motion Pictures.  Unusual medal, struck by the Medallic Art Company.  This piece is about 1/2 in. thick and over 3 in. in diameter with an unusual rim, and hollowed out in back.  I guess it could be used as a paperweight laying face up and an ashtray laying face down.  Appears to be silver-plated, but not sure on what metal.  Very unusual piece.  I have never seen another piece made like this.
